FoodService Partners' central production kitchen

FoodService Partners (FSP) is a privately held company created in 1998 to design, build and operate high volume central production kitchens for the healthcare industry. FSP serves 33 hospitals and long-term care facilities in California and Virginia and another 15 in New York City. The kitchen they designed and operate in Brooklyn, NY produces 19,000 meals a day for all the hospitals managed by NY City's Health and Hospitals Corporation. Out of its central production kitchen in South San Francisco FSP produces and delivers all the patient meals for 22 Kaiser Permanente Hospitals in Northern California, a total of close to 7,000 meals a day; and serves the residents' needs at Lytton Gardens in Palo Alto with a special long-term care menu plated and delivered on china. The kitchen began service to St. Helena Hospital in Napa Valley in 2008. In 2010 FSP was retained by Sodexo to manage a new, cook-chill commissary in Buffalo to serve Meals on Wheels.

FSP will design and build a central production kitchen for any healthcare company or hospital group that needs at least 4,000 patient meals a day. FSP will tailor a menu and service program to meet the needs of each new customer. FSP's patient feeding program can help hospitals provide a quality meal that produces a high level of patient satisfaction while helping the hospital avoid capital expenditures and reduce patient feeding cost.

Angelo Bizzarro

The owners and managing partners of FSP, Angelo Bizzarro and Bob Dunn were part of the senior management team of Caterair International, formerly Marriott In-Flite, which operated 117 kitchens producing 400,000 meals a day with 20,000 employees on five continents. They recognized the need and saw the opportunity to bring their central production expertise to the healthcare industry. They put the resources in place which led to the creation of FoodService Partners.
